This was our home for two wonderful weeks, Celebrity's Eclipse.
Our cabin, 9209 on the starboard hump facing forward.
Looking the other way.
Our veranda.
Our bath.
A panorama I shot as we sailed.
The next few pics are some of my favorite parts of Eclipse. This is the main atrium.
This is looking down from Deck 12. Starting at the top, the pool, the library, the card room, Team Earth (?)
Shot from one deck lower.
And one deck closer still. You can almost see the iLounge (Apple Store) one deck down.
All the way downstairs.
The big tree that hangs from about deck 6 up in the Atrium.
The Card Room was right outside our cabin. Because of the ship design, this was not a problem.
The Card Room where I would come when I woke up early to work on photos.
Eclipse is truly a beautiful ship.
Looking up.
The library.
Looking down. On each side of the tree are elevators.
Looking out at the pool from the top of the stairs outside the buffet.
Looking down into the library.
The Lawn CLub. The Glass Show is on the left.
I love the X. It's one of my favorite trademarks.
The bocce court.
Looking aft to the wake.
At the Lawn Club.
More grass.
Looking down to the pool deck.
The pool deck fountain.
Looking aft from the Solstice deck.
Inside the Solarium.
The band playing in the Atrium.
Dancing pre-dinner in the Atrium.
My DELICIOUS crepe at Bistro on Five.
Kathleen's DELICIOUS crepe.
When we took a Bridge tour, we were out on the flying bridge and I took this shot back.
When we took the Bridge tour we could look right down into the water.
One side of the flying bridge and the controls.
Mike and the Captain.
When the ship is docking, this is how the Captain tells how close they are.
We could easily see the position of the ship and others. Lots of others.
The second officer shows us photos of the props and the thrusters.
Some of the photos.
The rest of the bridge.
The Corning Glass Show
They do a great job of blowing glass.
They auction off many pieces on the last day of the cruise and give the proceeds to charity.
They draw quite a crowd.
Our favorite place, the Molecular Bar.
Barbara and Helena made some amazing drink.
Carol's favorite drink, the Chocoberry and it's not even on the menu!
Read my review of our dinner at Qsine here. Our dinner at Qsine started with this authentic bread from Africa.
They started us with a delicious shrimp dish.
Followed by vegetarian and baby back rib spring rolls.
Bread almost gone.
A wonderfully delicious crab dish.
The M's. A wonderful selection of Mediterranean dishes.
It was my favorite and what I would order if there were only two of us eating.
Next came sliders and all the fixings.
Yummy!
Then came lobster rolls with escargot inside. No one liked them but me.
Fillet mignon as a painter's palette. Bernaise, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, spin dip and more.
Our last main course was chicken on saffron rice.
The dessert menus.
Dessert started with this grass lawn full of berry pops coated with chocolate and creme brule eggs.
Three kinds of gelato were inside.
Beignets with toppings.
Kathleen and Angela got cupcakes that you decorate yourself.
Mike and I got the "surprise" dessert, bread pudding and ice cream. Yummy!
Cupcakes decorated.
We did the Riedel wine tasting again to get four new sets of glasses. They came today.
It really makes a difference.
Some shots I took off our veranda. Three ships lined up off our starboard side.
The Cliffs of Dover.
Just a great sunset.
Three ships and Calais, France.
Lots of great sunsets that happened after 10:00 pm.
