The Mates go to Hawaii
Oahu-you can keep it
Here comes Oahu!
And here comes the sun.
Diamond Head
And closer.
Here comes the pilot
I love pilot boats.
And the sunrise just got better.
Go pilot boat, go.
Sunrise in front of Diamond Head
Honolulu
Seriously, it looks like this. No retouching was done to this photo.
Off the ship and driving through the Waikiki Beach area. Spied a banyan tree.
The actual Waikiki Beach
And the War Memorial
A lighthouse...Mike loves lighthouses.
Going into the crater of Diamond Head.
Inside Diamond Head's crater
Headed out of the crater.
Just outside the crater. Quite a view.
An amazing hill that people actually climbed.
See the people going up?
We all stand and take pictures.
I get the best picture.
Or maybe it was this one.
Bob, Jude, Hawaii and clouds.
More beaches and water
They are beautiful.
And some people climb right down to the water.
Fishing off the cliffs
A cool little cove.
Another beach
And a blow hole.
Another beach
This guy was amazing. He almost floated in place in midair.
Another beach
Vertically
The water is really that blue. No retouching, no saturation applied.
Bob and Jude lunge!
Another beach
Another beach...or was it the same one. They all started looking the same after a while.
Time for a really great view.
With historical significance.
Pretty incredible view.
Great shadows.
This moron went over the wall and the winds were about 30mph. One good gust and my pic could have been on the news. There was a 500 foot drop about two feet behind him.
Here's the panoramic view.
Downtown Honolulu at the Iolani Palace
The crest in the gate.
Hawaii 50. Really. Watch the shows opening credits. McGarrett and Dano are inside.
King Kamehameha Statue
King Kamehameha Statue in front of Aliiolani Hale
I found this beautiful woman there.
Another cool banyan tree.
The King from a little further away.
The king is everywhere.
Back on board, the view from our verandah.
More of the view.
Goodbye Oahu.
Below is a slide show of my pics from Oahu
