We are in our mid-sixties. Kathleen is RETIRED (as of 12/15/17) and Jim owns his own business that produces niche products for the high school yearbook industry. They met on the Internet more than 20 years ago and they each have kids from previous marriages (Kathleen a daughter who works for Château St. Michelle winery-married to a great guy who runs an independent auto repair firm and Jim has one of each, a son (who works for Costco and is married to a training specialist for AAA and a daughter (who is a teacher married to a State Patrol detective) and one GRANDSON--MASON and one GRANDDAUGHTER --MAYLEE. Our hobbies include travel, theater, film, reading and for me, cooking and photography. If you are ever in Seattle, I would love to cook for you.

Holly & I are in our early 50s. Holly is a Budget Analyst for the Department of Defense (33 years) & I’m a Navy Air Traffic Controller (34 years). I meet precious few other Sailors who pay to go on cruises J. We met when she was a volunteer at the USO.
We firmly believe that exploration of other cultures is fatal to small-mindedness (Mark Twain, ‘The Innocents Abroad’, 1867).
My second passion is independent filmmaking. I take a fair amount of gear on our trips (I don’t let tech get in the way of fun) to document travel & blog, taking about 2 months to turn that media into a film. Ask me anything about pre/post production- I’m happy to assist.
Holly’s other passions include cooking & photography. She takes most of our close-up shots (& quite well).

Al's brother (Stephen) and sister in law (Anne) are joining us on the cruise as they celebrated their 30th Anniversary in 2017. Al and I will celebrate our 34th anniversary on the first day of the cruise.

We are in our mid-sixties, Joanne is retired from a lifetime federal career, last serving with the CDC. Bob is still working for AT&T as an Engineer/Planner and is considering retiring next year.
We have no children, only one spoiled kitty cat named Smokey. We love cruising and have sailed on several lines including Princess, Carnival, NCL, MSC, and Celebrity. This will be our second time sailing on the Summit. Last time was to Bermuda.
We love meeting new people and planning independent shore excursions with fellow cruisers.

We have three girls (with 2 spouses) and 3 granddaughters ages 3, 2 and 3 months.

Both retired from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Ken was an anesthesiologist and Pat was a student services manager. We now call Southport, NC, home and are enjoying the beach and coastal life.
We've been on 40 cruises, one of which was half way around the world. Our blended family consists of three children (and their spouses), eight grandchildren, and a little Maltese dog. In addition to travel, we enjoy wining and dining, entertaining, music, and cooking. Ken is an avid reader and Pat is a dedicated blogger.

This will be our 4th Celebrity cruise, first time on Summit and 17th overall cruise (includes 3 European river cruises). Will probably visit our cousins in Staten Island prior to the cruise. We love to travel, with the exception of flying. Global Entry/TSA Pre-Check has proved worthless for us.
Our joy comes from meeting so our fellow cruisers and seeing new places - like Quebec. My hubby is retired from State of NM Environment Dept; I do weekly newsletters for a TV/radio sales coach; 1 for US distribution; another for Canada. No kids. Looking forward to this cruise.

We are in our mid-50's and practicing for retirement. We both work in the IT Industry, Chuck owns a Network Services firm and Shannon is a Sr. Systems Architect for Element Fleet Services. We have two daughters, one nearby and another in New Zealand. Luckily the one 3-year old grand-daughter we have is nearby. This will be our 7th cruise and 3rd with Celebrity.
Two full weeks away from work is tough for us so we are arriving the Saturday afternoon before our cruise and flying home the day we return.

About 120 cruises on various cruise lines (Ocean and River). Spending kids inheritances -- one cruise at a time. Beyond cruising our next favorite "money-pit" is wine enjoyment.
We grew up (sort of) in Philadelphia, and have been living in NH for almost 18 years now. Both retired --Janet from Nursing, and Ray from Human Resources Mgmt. We love living in a small rural town, rather than a large city - another "plus" from retirement.
Pre/Post cruise -- "Pre" we will drive to area the day prior and find a hotel with reasonable parking costs, or park at the cruise terminal garage. "Post" we plan to retrieve our vehicle and drive home, should be about 4 hours on a Sunday (late morning/mid afternoon).

Our pre and post plans are not finalized, but we plan to enjoy New York City (a fav), a play or two, a walk through Central Park, etc. Sharon will try to squeeze in a visit to B&H Photo.
Post cruise, we are considering renting a car, and doing a leisure drive through the east coast, to Pittsburgh, where we both grew up Steel Mill brats, Sharon in the country, Ray in small town USA. Both still have family and childhood friends in the area.

I am Eileen, a retired Los Angeles Unified School teacher. My husband, Bob, is a retired Los Angeles County Coroner Investigator. We have two adult children that work and live close by. I love to walk in a nature center near home, play tennis three/four times a week, enjoy lunches,movies and cooking classes with friends, and most of all love not rushing out at 6:15 AM to get to work. Bob is an avid bike rider and likes to take his 'training rides' several times a week with his big one on Saturday morning lasting most of the day. We have no idea about pre cruise, but will fly home directly post cruise. We've been on 13 cruises, mostly Royal Caribbean before we moved over to Celebrity for the last four.

We are retired since 2014. We love to travel while we are healthy. While we are virgins on Celebrity and Summit, we did most of our cruising with HAL, Oceania and RCI. We have one son, one daughter and 4 grandchildren (3 boys and I girl). We are hoping our friends in Vancouver will join us on this cruise and they are Celebrity regulars. Thinking of doing a pre-cruise NYC visit for few days and coming home right after the cruise.
Since retiring and getting two new knees, I have been golfing and traveling. I love to plan and organize private excursions. Looking forward to meeting all new friends on The Summit cruise.

We are 58 and 61 from the Northern Beaches of Sydney. We have 29 year old boy/girl twins. We have an auto repair/restoration business where Mark and our son specialise in bringing Kombi Vans, Chevys back to life. I like to think I am of some help in the office.
We first cruised on our 25th wedding in 2009 & became hooked on cruising. We have loved all of our cruises but 2 favourites would be British Isles and Baltic, but then again we loved the Middle East & Israel, & Med & NZ.....oh well, all of them are our favourites.
Our daughter is a ballet teacher, married to an English guy and our son (when not working with us) surfs around the world. His girlfriend lives in LA.

We have been on three past cruises to Alaska and the British Isles on Celebrity, and we loved the experience.. Jamie is still in her fifties and Steve just cracked 60. Jamie is a public school teacher (working in the district office) and Steve is in engineering working for Boeing. We met at a tall club dance (Steve is 6’8” and Jamie is 6’2”) in the 1980’s. We have two children; a son and a daughter - in college.
Hobbies and interests include movies, travel, home improvement; and photography, gardening, computers, and electronics for Steve; and cooking, baking – competitively (county fair), and Disney for Jamie.

Rupert is 70 and I am 63. We both retired in 2011 and are enjoying Freedom. We have 3 children, 2 boys and a girl, industrial engineer, microbiologist and chemical engineer. We are blessed with 3 grandchildren, a boy and 2 girls. We celebrated Rupert’s 70th in Hawaii for 2 weeks with our entire family and returned home last week. Our next trip is BTB cruises on Caribbean Princess for 18 days in May, then Canada New England on Celebrity Summit and 13 days Italy and the Adriatic on Celebrity Eclipse in Nov. We love to travel, and enjoy cruises as well as land tours. Our photo was taken in Kauai. We shared shaved ice. Our flavours were lychee, mango and passion fruit, drizzled with condensed milk. Yummy!

We are Mark and Kathie from just south of Nashville, TN. We're both retired from the health care industry and love to spend time traveling, meeting new friends and enjoying the company of old friends. This is our second New England cruise so many of the ports are repeats for us---BUT we are hoping for much less rain and cold weather than the last time! We're Lois and Larry, both retired from the education field. We have been married 46 years and have 2 married children and 2 grandchildren. We've cruised many times...over 20, a lot for us. I loved Alaska and last time we did a land tour as well. Larry enjoyed the Dead Sea on our Holyland trip.
I do enjoy trivia on the ships and Larry loved the indoor pools and spa areas...we both have different ideas of what is relaxing... We travel all cruise lines, but love the M Class of Celebrity...this will be our second Summit sailing.
Sine we live on Long Island, we'll be driving from home to the port on the day we sail.....then coming back home the day we return. No flying for us this time......love that!!!!

We are seniors. . . used to travel extensively by own vehicle, or fly, rent a car and travel. . . however once we discovered cruising. . . ahhh. . . LOVE! We both love gardening, golfing, hiking, dinner groups, etc. I enjoy playing Bridge. . . my husband still plays Tennis. We are well up in years however still basically healthy and very active.
We have not planned many excursions at the Canadian ports since we have travelled and vacationed extensively in our own country (and also in the U.S. of A.) We are however hoping to do check out Boston, Portland and Bar Harbor.

Cindy is retired after doing the payroll for Ft Huachuca Accom Schools for many years. Art is semi retired as he golfs 3 to 4 times a week and works 2 to 3 days a week in the pro shop. We celebrated our retirement last August/September in Italy for six weeks. Renting an apartment in Prosecco Road area and attended a cooking school for one week. We brought back 64 bottles of wine in our luggage and had several more shipped

We are in late 60's but Paul hasn't bitten the retirement fruit yet. Still loves selling industrial power equipment. Regina officially retired when the first grandchild was born and never looked back!
We do love to travel; just starting "real" photography; watching our grandsons play soccer. Regina has spent years working on family genealogy and will NEVER finish.
We are starting this trip in Baltimore and will work our way to New Jersey before sailing.

This is our fifth cruise to Canada and New England. Four with Celebrity. We love every port. Celebrating our 62nd wedding anniversary. We have 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. We are 60 yo and have been retired for almost four years. We want to live life while we are able to and we've taken over 20 cruises since 2005 when we took our first cruise for our 25th anniversary.
We like to walk on deck early mornings and I am always looking for trivia partners. I also play mah-jong if there is a game going and I'm learning bridge.
I also love taking photos and got some great scenery shots last time we were on a similar itinerary.

We have also done a number of 'land' trips (Ireland, Budapest, Vienna, Prague and England to name a few). We have visited Iceland a few times. Have taken our grandchildren on many cruises as well.
We also love to go to the theater. We prefer live entertainment over going to the movies.

We are in our late fifties. Elias is RETIRED (as of 8/1/16) and Lisa works part-time for a food broker close to home. We met in the college more than 34 years ago and have 6 children all girls and 1 boy. We have two grandchildren, Evie who is 9 and Damian who will be 1 this month. We love spending time with our family. We enjoy travel and hope to start doing much more. We also enjoy sports especially college basketball, reading and taking cooking classes together. We look forward to seeing new places and meeting new people.

This will be our 10th cruise. I'm retired from computer technician since June 2013. DW retired since we married. DW cooks delicious and keeps us healthy. I'm 65 and DW 61. Have 2 children one girl 32, Caty she graduate in Graphic Design, and one boy 30, Gerardo he graduate in Computer Software Design. Both not married yet. Also we have one cat (Jack) Siamese 11 years old. Now my hobby is to Cruise, Music and Soccer. I like Classic music and old classic rock. This will our first time in New York and Canada.

We are 75 year old seniors who enjoy traveling, family, sporting events , theater and musical events. Just celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary on a cruise with the whole family. A good time was had by all!
Chose this itinerary because of the ports. Have visited Boston, Cape Breton and Halifax but we're eagerly looking forward to returning especially in October. Lived in Allendale, NJ for many years and retired to Trinity,Fl. 12 years ago.

We have always loved to travel and have invested in a few timeshares that get constant use, but since retiring, we have focused more on cruising. I used to work at SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union and Gary worked for UPS.
I'm very exciting to be spending 5 nights in Manhattan before the cruise because I love the theater!
We have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls, and 4 grandchildren, courtesy of our sons, with hopefully more to come from the girls! The two older ones are 10 and the two younger ones are 9 born 3 days apart.
I love photography and especially Photoshop. Gary spoils the kids by building anything they can come up with, like a fancy DVD cabinet or a "Salsa Garden"above ground. Baltic Sea was our last cruise with a group of 12!

George and I are looking forward to this cruise. We travel quite a bit, but not cruising. We have been on all 7 continents.
We did do a cruise to Alaska on a small ship that only had 300 people. In 2015 we went to Antarctica on a Russian Research ship that only had 90 people. In order to go onto the islands with the penguins, you can only have 100 people. We also went kayaking everyday which was incredible with all the icebergs.
I enjoy traveling and doing photography.

We spend our Winters in the Florida Keys. Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge is our resident home away from home. During the other months of the year, we travel. Just came off of a two week back to back cruise on Harmony of the Seas. It was fabulous. Roger was a Catalog photographer and he works now as my grip. I shoot video and love it. I also love paper crafting. Cards are my specialty but have branched into quilling. I get to exhibit my quilled wall mandala's while in the Keys. Looking forward to meeting all the other Cruise Critic;s in the group.

We are loyal X cruisers (Elite Plus) but have tried 6 different cruise lines before deciding to stick with X whenever possible.We are both retired and enjoy getting away several times a year. We have 3 grown children and one adorable 16-month-old granddaughter.
We both play bridge but Mary plays a lot more than Dean does, tho we seldom play while cruising.
We can be found at Elite breakfast enjoying Bloody Marys (Dean) and Bellinis (Mary) and at Elite Happy Hour, wherever it is held. We also enjoy trivia in the afternoon on sea days. We have done this cruise before. It is great. Captain Kate was our Captain last time and she was AMAZING. We are retired and live in the San Francisco Bay Area. We have a mountain place in the low Sierra. We have been on 53 cruises and love cruising. The ports on this cruise are wonderful, very clean, and you feel safe. Looking forward to this cruise again.
